Educational & Professional Background

I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, currently under the supervision of Sandra Kushnir, LMFT #9225 at Meridian Counseling. Holding a Master of Science degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, my academic foundation is robust.

My practical experience includes working as a MFT Trainee at Ness Counseling Center in Los Angeles, where I conducted individual, couples, and group therapy sessions for both self-referred and court-mandated clients. Since October 2021, I've been an integral part of Meridian Counseling, overseeing tasks such as managing new client inquiries and handling insurance verification. Currently, I serve as the Manager of Outreach and Training, leading our CAMFT-accredited training program for therapists, organizing employee events, and engaging in community outreach efforts.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I dedicated over two years to volunteering at a residential treatment center and completed a significant internship as an observational coder of therapy sessions for children (ages 5-13) with Autism Spectrum and comorbid disorders at the Child and Adolescent Services Research Center in San Diego.

Committed to upholding ethical standards, I operate within the guidelines set forth by the
California Board of Behavioral Sciences and CAMFT as a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California.
